"Growing up I was un-athletic and was readily picked on by other kids.
I felt afraid of conflict and inadequate and fearful.
By training in Tae Kwon Do, my self-confidence has exploded and allowed me to discard
a self-image that felt weak and uncoordinated. As a result I have found
that I have unlimited potential and no longer have that unhealthy fear. I have
also found joy in athletic performance and confidence in my ability.
That is my primary goal as an instructor as well,
to help people to become confident, self-assured, and to be able to set aside
unhealthy fear of conflict."
